Still here in Minnesota at the lake. I have been enjoying training here, using the local high school's track 2-3 times a week. Also making use of a good local gym. I do miss my twice a week Pilates lessons in the studio with Megan though! I have been practicing my mat routine regularly, but I like the variation and focus that my private lessons give. I think we head home next week, so I can go back to my regular routine. It has been a hot, dry summer up here in north central Minnesota. I have played golf quite a few times, and have had a lesson, which helped a lot.

My track workouts have been tough but good. I have been on a few longer runs (7-8 miles), and I need to do another this week. My right hammy was feeling really tight on Saturday and Sunday, so I have been resting it. Tomorrow I have a massage with Andrew, a talented, super strong therapist I found up here. I also made use of Dan and Karen's new driveway to do hill speed work a few times, using my new cones to measure out 30, 60, and 80 meters. That is a fun workout.

Right now, I have that 3-day distance trail run out in Utah on the books at the end of September. Then I'll stay out there for the Huntsman Games at the beginning of October. I will compete in the New Jersey Senior Games meet in September, too (so I can qualify to compete in next summer's National Senior Games Championships in Oklahoma). I see there a few more last chance meets in the next few weeks (Delaware, Providence, and Alexandria, Virginia) . . . but not sure yet if I will do any.
