Sunday, September 21, 2025 Today ends a pretty good week of training. On Wednesday I did Pilates mat and weight strength training at gym. Thursday I did some cross training--a full hour on the bike at the gym (tough!). Friday I ran 1k intervals along the river with 90 second rests: 6 of them at a 5:35 /km pace. I went to gym after for Pilates mat and leg strengthening exercises. THEN I went to see Dr. Aaron for acupuncture and cupping. Took Saturday as a rest day. Today, Sunday, was track practice. Did a hard workout, trying to build up my anaerobic strength for the Bridge to Bridge relay in two weeks. We did 5 x 300m with 100m jog between (averaged about 1:05); 2 x 1200 meters at 6:41; finished with 5 more 300 meters (averaged 1:03). Felt great today.
