Monday, February 2, 2026 Yesterday I competed in the 118th Annual Millrose Games at the Armory in NYC. Last year was my first time, and our relay team got the gold in the M60 4x400--but we won because a team was eliminated for crossing the line too soon on first leg. So while it was nice to win, I would have rather have done it the old-fashioned way. BUT, I got my chance this year! New team--and we won the gold by far, and we set a new meet record at 4:09. It was a lot of fun. I ran the second leg, running my 400 under a minute at 59, which felt great (last year I led off and ran 1:02). My teammates were all fast--John Curtis (just aged up to M60), David Ott (he's 62, I believe), and Bruce Rash anchored (he's 64). Our M50 team got the gold, too. And our M40 team (with a 61-year-old on it!), took Bronze. It was a great day for Greater Philadelphia Track Club.
